Pertronix 60104 - Pertronix Flame-Thrower HV Coils

The high-voltage (HV) E-Core design of these Pertronix coils yields an incredible 60,000 volts, operating without degradation throughout temperature ranges that surpass military specifications. Pertronix HV Coils are available in three primary resistances: 0.45, 1.5, or 3 ohm, which makes them compatible with most points-type and electronic ignition systems or capacitive discharge boxes on 4, 6, and 8-cylinder engines. Made of 6063 T5 aircraft aluminum, the special heat sink design efficiently transfers heat to optimize energy output for street/strip and off-road applications, and the heat sink extrusion installs easily and permits alternate routing of wires.

Housings are anodized (black) for increased corrosion resistance, and coils are vacuum-potted for reliability and longevity. Brass primary terminals provide greater current conductivity, as well as direct mounting without special connectors or harnesses. High-tension male terminals are precision machined to ensure the coil wire's snug fit. Standard thread connections and mounting hardware included with each coil.
