Will the steel gear that comes with this Pertronix distributor work with a Comp Cam? Comp Cams says to use a melonized gear which costs another $100 making this distributor cost almost $300. We should be able to choose the gear needed.

    Asked by: DennisB
No, Pertronix 751-D134600 will not work with the comp cam, you would be required to purchase an additional melonized gear
