    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Mini Starter for the money. I bought this Starter a few weeks ago. The factory starter on my ProCharged Sierra was failing and I did not want to get a OEM replacement. So after looking into High Torque Mini Starters I landed on this one. My Truck being a 2015 with the LT series motor in it; I wasn’t exactly sure how this would fit. (Even though the website said it would work, it also said it was for late model LS series trucks.) But thankfully another review posted by someone who also had a 15’ Sierra said he used it so I went ahead and ordered it. Even with the full length TSP Headers on my truck; this fit PERFECTLY! Like the other gentleman said, the factory battery cables are a bit of a hassle but it can be done without any modifications. However, the factory starter does have a bolt hole for the OEM heat shield to attach that this starter obviously will not have. No big deal though as that heat shield is still able to be used because it has more than one bolt holding it in place. Also: if you carefully cut/remove the female plug from the OEM starter and screw it to the signal wire terminal on the new powermaster starter; you can still use the stock/OEM pigtail harness and simply Plug your signal wire back in. This Starter looks and performs WAY better than the OEM one. Also has a “unique” sound while turning over. (In my case with the L83; you can trim the factory cover to keep the flywheel/flexplate from being exposed too). My Truck turns over like a Champ now! Super Happy with this Starter! These Gen V L83 engines have 11:1 compression out the box, so it don’t matter if your L83 is bone stock or heavily modified; adding a High Torque Mini Starter is a good investment. BLOOP-BLOOP!

I bought this starter a while back, it is different from my OEM starter on my 2015 GMC Sierra, it was a little difficult to put the positive line on there, and the one for the solenoid, but with a little force I got everything on there, I would consider buying the OEM starter for easy installation.
