Rated 5 out of 5 by from It worked for my application I did a new Gen III HEMI 6.1L in a Jeep CJ7 with a TH400 transmission. The available room for a starter on the left side is very limited to begin with and the engine has a couple of bosses that protrude. This starter worked because it is clock able. The OEM starter wouldn't work. Without this starter I could have never completed the installation. It turns the engine over perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome torque The original equipment type starter on my 440 Plymouth could barely crank the motor. I couldn't believe the difference in the cranking speed with the Powermaster XS starter. It's even smaller that I expected and was super easy to install. Great value for the money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from looks good! I bought this starter for a 1967 barracuda with a 904 auto that is getting a 2001 360 magnum. I tried all three positions and it did not fit. I had to grind about 2mm off of an ear on the block. It now fits. I will update this when I finish the project and see if it works.

I was under the impression you needed the 9513-09 with his starter to install is that correct? Or will just the starter bolt on with no nose piece?

    Asked by: Mike
The Powermaster 713-9513 starter is designed to bolt on as is.
