Helping to keep the drive train properly aligned is an important
benefit of PROTHANE polyurethane bushings. Factory bushings tend to wear out, with the resultant sloppiness
putting the driveline in a potential ''bind'' condition. Controlling
horsepower benefits acceleration and handling. Note: 1984-92 Camaro, Firebird and Trans-Am's were produced with two different Torque-Arm configurations which require one of two different bushing styles. Some models had the Torque-Arm ''lip'' facing towards the driveshaft while on other models the ''lip'' facing away from the driveshaft (see illustartion below for Torque-Arm configurations). Be sure to check your vehicles Torque-Arm configuration before ordering your bushing to ensure you receive the correct bushing style for your application.
