3-Series fits 3.40 and numerically lower ratio carrier.

4-Series fits 3.73 and numerically higher carrier.

When installing 5.13 and 5.38 ratios, differential pin P/N 80-0269-1 must be used.

Fits:
1964-82 Blazer/C10 & K10 rear/K20 rear (Note: Will not fit 2.56 & 2.73 carrier on 80-83 Truck and Blazer.)
1969-81 G10 & G20 Van

Use installation kit P/N 836-83-1018-1 or 836-83-1018-M.
