    The New Corvette system offers many advantages over the OEM suspension system... The engineers have put their heart and soul into fabricating a complete suspension design that is a direct bolt in to the C3 Corvettes. Up front the task was to increase camber gain and minimize bump steer.

    By utilizing the Ridetech ''Tall Drop'' spindle and tubular StrongArm control arms with Delrin bushings the ride height was lowered two inches, camber gain was increased to match the requirements of modern tires, the ball joints were updated to a modern style and relocated for increased caster and the correct angle for the lower stance, while the self lubricating Delrin bushings keep things where they should be without required maintenance.

    The TruTurn system reduces bumpsteer to under 0.060'' and increases steering response by relocating the inner tie rods and replacing the outer tie rods with PTFE lined heim joints. New billet aluminum steering arms are supplied that correct the ackerman which results in a vehicle with amazing turn in and steering feel.

    StrongArm tubular control arms not only improve suspension geometry and handling, they also make installation even easier. The added benefit when replacing control arms is new bushings and ball joints. No more worn out components.

    Note: The C3 Corvette TruTurn Suspension package uses a GM Spindle used on 1967-69 Camaro (F-body), 1964-72 Chevelle (A-body), and 1968-74 Nova (X-body). Any Brake Kit designed to fit the OEM Disc Brake Spindle of the listed cars will fit the Spindle in your TruTurn System. Corvette brakes will not work.

    Resolve Bump Steer & Camber Gain Issues with TruTurn

    The TruTurn System is a combination of upgraded steering components that provide modern, high performance steering and improved front tire clearance while retaining your stock frame. Early Camaros, Novas and Mustangs have very poor front suspension geometry. Front tires lean outward during cornering and severe bumpsteer occurs during suspension movement. The stock design leaves little room to run a wide wheel because of the OEM steering arm interference. The TruTurn system resolves ALL these issues...the tires now lean INTO the turn, the bumpsteer is UNDER .050" through 5" of suspension travel, and you now have clearance to run up to a 10" wide wheel with a 275mm tire (on a Camaro/Nova).

    TruTurn includes the following components:

    • 1.) Spindles - taller overall to improve the camber gain and a raised spindle pin to lower your car by 2" (Click to see the difference)
    • 2.) Steering Arms - designed to correct bumpsteer AND allow clearance for up to a 10" wide wheel with a 5.75" backspacing.
    • 3.) Drag-Link Bracket - bolts onto your oem draglink to relocate the inner tierod end to minimize bumpsteer.
    • 4.) Tie Rod Assemblies - integrates with your new steering arms and centerlink to provide a tru "no fab" bolt on steering system.
