Rated 3 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for Used this kit on a 66 289 block. This is a budget 347 kit and you definitely get what you pay for. Had my machinist look everything over while they were going through the block. Had to spend an extra $100 to have the rods and pistons lined honed as there was absolutely no oil clearance. The Icon pistons do not have an oil hole in them. There is no key for the crank so save the OEM. Did not have any ARP rod bolt stretching issues.

Im thinking about putting this kit in my 95 GT. My main goals are drivability, this is my daily driver. I also want more HP and TQ. I would like to go with a blower/supercharger in the future. Is this a good choice? And what is the best cam for this kit?

    Asked by: Jose1994
This will be a good choice for your application. The camshaft will depend on a number of factors - Please call our tech line for assistance 1-800-345-4545 ext 2001
