The Competition Series sets combine sophisticated engineering with premium materials to deliver the highest quality timing components. All Competition Series sets utilize an extra durable .250'' diameter roller chain to eliminate chain stretch. The seamless steel rollers are free spinning on high strength steel pins, for the maximum in friction reduction. Cam sprockets are heat treated cast iron, with tooth profiles precision machined to match the chain characteristics. Matching multi-keyway crank sprockets are heat treated steel to minimize wear.
