    These Skyjacker stabilizers dampen out the harshness of the highway, the "shimmy" from running the additional weight of larger tires and wheels and places control back into the driver's hands. Stabilizers also reduce the fatigue of the driver on a personal level by reducing the amount of physical strength it takes to guide those larger tires on and off the road. Changing the weak stock unit for a better performing replacement or adding dual steering stabilizers is an inexpensive and worthy investment.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really helps an old trucks steering I bought this and placed on my 1980 / 1983 Chevy K10 that has been put together from a couple of different donors, but the old shocks were shot and left steering to be an adventure in wondering and lane changes with bumps. The new unit was very easy to put on and included all of the mounting hardware to fit the OE position. The instructions were very easy to follow and the whole job took maybe 30 minutes. The steering of this old girl has improved greatly and is not as stressful when shooting down the freeway at 75mph on the great Texas roads. Now it is just a waiting game for the rest of the steering components. JEGS was great to but from.
