The value-priced Contender series features high-quality Powerglide planetary assemblies which offer a significant upgrade from OE helical gears. Rated up to 1,000 horsepower, Contender series come assembled with Sonnax Premium 9310 sun gears, 8620 pinion gears, OE-style thrust washers and OE length, 4340 cut-spline output shafts or short length, HY-Tuf shafts. The billet drum flange is a 12-tooth (OE) design. The gears in Contender series gear sets are covered by a one-year warranty.
