57283 - Spectre Engine Oil Dipsticks is rated 1.7 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good quality for the price. Caution: this will not fit a 96-2002 SBC. It's for blocks up to 96. I wasn't thinking about this when I purchased.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs modification to fit SBC I had the same issue as many others, the stem doesn't insert into block with using a belt sander or other way to reduce the diameter. This was time consuming. Also, if you have headers, you will need to bend it slightly to work with headers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 1985 K10 ok product but don't try to pound the hole end down through the block. First the tab broke and then was stuck. I bought a better one and the same thing was going to happen. I cut the end off at the bottom about a 1.5 from were the two pieces are put together and a little rtv seal and it was perfect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't fit The dipstick tube is too big to fit a 1990 chevy 350. Had to cut the bottom of the tube off and use the end of the old tube with a chunk of fuel hose between.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn’t fit... Lesson learned, read the reviews first. Does not fit the hole in the block......

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the right part for my engine I asked the customer service rep TWICE to make sure this part would fit. He assured me it was the correct part. I gave him the part number of my engine which I also bought from Jegs. My mechanic said it is not even close to the right dipstick

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too big The dipstick and tube itself looked good with the chrome but the diameter was 0.10 to big. Had to put it on a belt sander and shave it a little. Wish it would've been the right size.
