    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job so far... Purchased this fan to replace the clutch fan on my truck. However, it's unclear whether it's actually the fan I received. The box has a part number which matches this item however, the box is about 3/4" too thin for the item. The fan had been forced into the box such that the box bows up and is cracked where the centre of the fan was. Additionally the fan does not appear to match the photo it has blue & black wires with a white connector on the ends (just like the JEGS own brand 16" fan that is also on the site). I couldn't see a part number on the item itself so it's anyone's guess whether this is the correct item or whether it something else happened - perhaps a returned item that was repacked in the wrong box? The JEGS fan which I believe is what was in my ill fitting Speedmaster box is rated for 2100cfm whereas this is rated for 2560cfm, I was looking for a fan >2000cfm and had already set aside a day to install. I had already contacted customer services earlier in the day regarding other items missing from my order. Not wishing to listen to another 30 minutes of Jessica by the Allman Brothers on repeat I decided to install the fan and see what happened. Both fans are probably made in the same factory from the same parts anyway. Finally, at the time of purchasing the Q&A section of this product page indicated that the kit for fixing the fan to the radiator was included with the fan, the answer given gave a specific part number for the fixing kit. This however, was not included. I didn't intend on using it anyway but if a product page specifically says something is included I would expect to receive it just in case. With regards to performance (of whatever fan I was shipped) it seems to do the job, we've had some hot days this week and I've done around 300 miles on it so far including some stop start driving and it cools the truck very efficiently. I would recommend this product but I would purchase it elsewhere if I needed to in again. I rarely write reviews for anything I buy, when I do it's usually positive but in this case the purchasing experience with this otherwise well functioning (probably) product was overshadowed by uncertainty about what I was actually shipped and the teeth pulling experience of trying to get customer services to ship out a $3 fastener kit which - at the time - was explicitly specified as being included with the product which I still haven't received a week later.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Powerful but....... The fan is powerful but the blade is not good. It wasn't moving much air. When I switch out the blade for a Curved Blade it moved a ton of air & much quieter. There's noway it has 2,500cfm with the blade that's installed on it.
