This kit was designed to replace the factory Hydra mount bushing that is located at the rear attachment point of the front control arm assembly of the S197 Mustang. While Ford designed the hydra mount for superior ride and comfort it does not respond well when pushed to the limit. Steeda has designed a kit that eliminates excess movement allowed by the hydra bushing for better handling. It also eliminates the artificial spring rate cause by the bushing. Heavy-duty zinc plated steel construction and Nylatron bushings ("Best bearing and wear nylon product available today") for severe Race Applications.
