The most complete and impact-ready 1/4" socket set
I already have the Sunex 1/2" and 3/8" socket sets so I am familiar with their products. I work on a 1-ton pickup that has some large-sized nuts and bolts. I started using Sunex because of their large-sized sockets and noted that their sockets did not damage any of the bolts or nuts nor did the sockets crack. I have replaced all of my sockets and extensions with Sunex. This 1/4" socket set, 1848S, is perfect because of the size range that it includes, because it is Chromoly steel, and because of the lifetime warranty. I also like the style/appearance of the sockets. When I use one of these sockets, I do so without any fear that the socket will crack/split under the applied torque. This is a great set and a good deal at the price/quality ratio.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1/4" impact sockets aren't a tool on everybody's list, which is why I chose them. I use sockets more and more on my cordless impact driver and I've had noticeable wear on a chrome 10mm that was used for assembly on a project where I drove well over 150 bolts into place.
I kept it in mind to check out some impacts, eventually, and when I saw Sunex's 1848 set, I jumped on it. I only have a few weeks into use, but I've made sure I've used it whenever the chance came about. I've used it in place of my 3/8 set for everything 9/16" or 15mm and less.
That said, I'm pleasantly surprised. Two things jumped out at me. First, the wall thickness is enough to be substantially thicker but not so much that I cannot fit the socket into recesses. The 10mm, which is my most used size, of late measured at 15mm exterior diameter compared to 14mm of two different brand chrome 1/4" sockets. The wall thickness is a hair over 2mm compared to just below 2mm. For simplicity's sake, I'll say the margin of difference is noticeable numbers-wise but not to where the sockets are needlessly fat. Second, they're made from cromoly, so I'm thinking they'll hold up just as well as the other cromoly in my toolbox. And with them being 1/4-drive, I doubt they'll see the abuse torque-wise because it's not common for small-sized fasteners to need such torque. And when they do, you're usually looking to remove them after they've broken.
The blow molded case will lay down in any box at 2-1/8" high. I was happy to see that.
The feel of the sockets is top rate. It's especially nice that the sizes are marked both in the body of the socket and printed on. Many times it's one or the other.
So, all that said, I'm been impressed. Sunex continues to increase the real estate they take up in my toolboxes.

Super quality, heavy duty!!! Highly recommend!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this impact socket set a couple weeks ago. I know Sunex is a great brand but wow am I impressed. The set comes in a heavy duty case, everything fits perfectly. Each socket is labeled, easy to see and just grab. I used this set to remove bolts on the truck I’m restoring. Trying to protect the original bolts was easy, the sockets fit perfectly. I was able to remove bolts that have been in place for over 50 years. I removed the bed sides, inner fender wells, front bed panel and tailgate. I would highly recommend this set to anyone looking for superb quality for a great price!!!

Superb 1/4" socket set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this 1/4" drive set for a period of time it has become apparent that it is made of the highest quality materials as we have not broken or damaged any of the sockets in the set and with the multitude of sockets in the set it makes it very convenient to have them in one well laid out and sturdy case

Perfect set for small jobs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a small impact set, and this set caught my attention. I work on small engines allot and having a good impact set for tear down is important. After using the set for a couple weeks I am very happy with the purchase. It has more sizes than I really need but I am glad I now have. I usually toss the case out when I get a set like this but the case is nice and I think will hold up well over time.The sockets are both stamped and marked something I like. I have been using the set with my cordless impact and the sockets have a nice fit and seem durable. Having a set with deep-well and shallow in both metric and standard makes this a great investment. I really cant find anything negative to say about the set and I would purchase it again.

Sockets came in handy i would Compare them to tool truck Brands if not better at a great value if you're in the market for a quarter inch set look no further

The Be-All End-All 1/4" Impact Socket Set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I say that hasn't been said already. It's a great set all on it's own; factor in the value and it's not a hard decision. It has every size one could want and then some; which I don't see too often from a lot of other manufacturers. The quality of the sockets are as good as anyone could hope for. All sockets are 6 point with a clearance radius at each corner to load the walls of the hardware. All the sockets are also printed with clearly legible labels as well as stamped with the socket size for good measure. I have great great experience with Sunex Impact sockets so I know they'll last in the long run. This set ticks every box and is a great compliment to any toolbox.
