I just bought one of these testers. Before opening it I read the back, and it said not to use it on flex fuel vehicles. Why not? Only regular gasoline is in the vehicle I intend to use it on.

    Asked by: Randynumbertwo
Hello, The message is specifically meant to refer to E85 and other ethanol rich flex fuels. The ethanol rich fuel will break down several materials used in the tester. The tester may be used with Flex Fuel vehicles only when they are fueled with standard pump gasoline.
