Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Part... Bought this to replace leaking aftermarket dipstick on my Supercharged LSA with a 4L60E. Had to tweak the tube at the top to miss the blower, but I anticipated that. The angle into the transmission was perfect and the tube slid right into the grommet. Excellent fit for an aftermarket part. You cannot find these at the dealer....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit This was a perfect fit for my 97 Suburban 1500 4 wheel drive. These are harder to find than one would think. I'm glad Jegs had it because I couldn't even get it through the Chevy dealer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great I needed a dipstick for my 700r4 and used this one which is perfect. It fits snug and came with the rubber grommet that installs in the tranny housing. Very clean and simple.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 700R4 Dipstick and Tube Purchased this product for the conversation (TH400 to 700R4) in my 73 Trans Am. Still have to procure a couple more parts so haven't actually started the project but the part looks good and should work fine. Furthermore the the locking feature is sanctioning body approved in case I decide to go get a time slip or two and the price was reasonable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's Better Than Nothing Doing an LS swap into a 1980 Camaro, the last thing I expected to be hard to find was a dipstick and dipstick tube for the 4 speed automatic transmission - but it was. The best I could do was this TCI unit. Here's the problem - the tube isn't bent right, so it goes into the 4L70E transmission at the wrong angle (see photos). Also, requiring an extra bracket to attach to an LS engine is kludgy. TCI or someone else needs to make a dipstick tube that closely follows the shape of the 4L60E bellhousing and that bolts directly to an LS engine. This is a common swap and therefore there's plenty of demand for it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the j I bought this for my 350/700r4 and it fit like a glove. My only complaints being that it feels much cheaper than OEM. The tubing and bracket are of a thinner gauge steel, and the locking handle in the dipstick is cheaply made. We’ll see how long it lasts. I haven’t ran with it yet, so I can’t say whether it leaks or not.
