Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great in a BBQ Grill I kept burning up digital temperature probes in my BBQ grill when I would jack-up the internal temps to 500 degrees for baking pizzas. I purchased this a few years back and it worked perfect. I recently added more probes to my smoker/grill so I need some more Thermo-Tec Thermo-Sleeve Insulation to protect the new probes. After seeing what it can do in the HOT GRILL, Thermo-Tec Thermo-Sleeve Insulation has got to be the "Cat's Meow" for insulating stuff on cars. I am so impressed with this product that I sent Thermo-Tec Thermo-Sleeve Insulation information to "The BBQ Guru", the company that makes my Smoker/Grill digital temperature controller. I imagine these sleeves can help keep fuel lines and wires cool in a hot engine compartment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from photo a little deceptive Looking at the photo I thought I was getting the ribbed flex hose. To my surprise it turned out to be an aluminum lined fabric type material sewed together to make a sleeve. No matter, I cut the material to length I needed, sliced the stitching apart, wrapped the material around my fuel line and zip tied it together to complete the job to my satisfaction. In my opinion it should be offered as an open sheet of material as well as the sewed tube.
