Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay Rear Dually Wheel Hello all, I purchased a set of these for my '88 Chevy 3500 Dually. I wanted to go with the 17's, but they were on back order for 4 months at the time of purchase and I did not have the patience to wait. They look great, but I do have 4 complaints/comments. The first one is the finish and the aluminum is very susceptible to the small damage. I bought keyed lugs to help protect my purchase, and I dropped one of the keys from about 3 inches up. It left 2 very noticeable marks/gouges measuring about 1/4 inch in length and .005-.010 in depth. It's my fault, I get that, I just wanted let everyone know they are very easily damaged. The second complaint is the plastic hubcaps to not sit flush on the inside mounting surface. As you install them, they start cracking and popping, because they're is approximately 1/16th of an inch difference. I am not sure how long they will last if you need to mount these tires more than 2 or 3 times. The third complaint, and the one that really bothered me the most, is you cannot use 4 of these dually wheels on the rear of your truck. I found this out the hard way after ordering 6 wheels, 2 front and 4 rear, only to find out that 2 of these rear wheels cannot be used as inside wheels. I understand most people would prefer to pass on the inside wheels and save some money by buying outside rear wheels only, since that is all that is visible. However, I am one of the few that actually wanted all 4 aluminum rear wheels for performance/weight saving, and to be able to evenly rotate all 4 wheels/tires. I understand there is only a small percentage of dually drivers that would want to use 4 aftermarket wheels, but I thought the information should to be shared, as this is not noted on this website, any other purchasing website, as well as not being stated on the manufacturers website. I had to call them after I was looking at the mating surfaces and realized they can not/should not be used as inside wheels, due to the large countersunk holes and limited mating surface with the wheel hub. The fourth item is just a comment for information. Ordering these wheels through Jegs means you will not receive lug nuts. This was perfect for me because I knew I wanted special lugs, but if you want just standard lugs, you need to make sure you order some 60 degree conical lugnuts in your correct wheel stud size. Hope this info helps.
