    Manufacturer's Part Number:

VHT PENETRATING COLOR DYE for vinyl and short nap carpet is a unique one-step dye that restores and/or changes the color of vinyl surfaces and low-pile carpets. It is ideal for use on stiff or pliable vinyl; leather and short nap carpeting and will not change the texture or flexibility. VHT PENETRATING COLOR DYE is a dye and not a paint. It is formulated to penetrate the surface and bring new life to the fibers permanently.

HARD VINYL: Remove dye with VHT Fast Strip Remover. Dry well then sand lightly with 400 grit sandpaper (mostly for cleaning). Wipe with Acetone, and then spray immediately after Acetone evaporates in 2-3 minutes.
VINYL AND LEATHER: Hold can 10 to 12 inches from the surface to be dyed. Spray with long even strokes first one direction and then the other. Let dry 5 minutes between coats. Repeat this process until the desired color is obtained. Some over spray may be present after spraying, let dry thoroughly and clean with mild soap solution. Dries to the touch in 10 to 15 minutes. Ready to use overnight.
SHORT NAP CARPETING: Spray surface in one direction with long even strokes. Brush freshly sprayed surface with a stiff nylon brush to separate the fibers. After brushing, immediately spray the surface in the opposite direction, brush again. Repeat this process until a smooth even surface has been obtained. Allow to dry overnight. Before using newly dyed surface test with a soft cloth checking for wet spots. Vacuum thoroughly before use.
