Pre-Filters
Pre-Filters are factory treated using a proprietary hydrophobic process and are manufactured from the same durable polyester material as their race proven regular style. This unique material contains uniform micron openings that will filter out debris .005 or larger. This pre-filter will prevent splashes of water, mud and sand from saturating your air filter.
These Volant kits feature cross-link polyethylene filter boxes and air ducts. The boxes are engineered to protect filters against engine compartment heat for more horsepower. With larger diameters, unique bends, and smooth transitions, sculpted air ducts give the engine a less restrictive air passage to breathe through for awesome throttle response. The kits' ram filters are made of cleanable, reusable high-grade media with precision pleat geometry for optimized airflow throughout the intake system. Also included: aluminum lids with neoprene foam backing; silicone connectors for flexibility, strength, and thermal stability; and marine-grade stainless steel clamps.
