Notes:This Vortech blow-through carbureted supercharger system will provide an increase in horsepower ranging from 30% to more than 75% depending on boost level and volumetric efficiency.
Systems include a cast aluminum carburetor enclosure assembly for use with Holley 4150-type, Quick-Fuel Q-QFT-850-BAN or Demon 825 MD carburetors. The enclosure pressurizes the float bowls and throttle shafts for seamless response. It features front and rear -8AN fuel inlet ports as well as multiple locations for pressure/vacuum connections. Linkage arms, splined shaft , and left/right hand spherical rod ends are included for simple throttle connection and adjustment. Carburetor studs are also supplied.
Kits are designed for ''long-type'' water pump configurations. Short-type water pump applications will have to use a custom accessory drive crank pulley and spacer that is not available from Vortech. Low-rise intake manifolds are recommended due to hood clearance. Compression ratios between 8:1 - 9.5:1 are suggested with 9:1 being ideal. Includes 3.33'' diameter 10-Rib pulley
