Air Ride ShockWave Lowering Systems are state-of-the-art airspring/shock combinations. With the airspring around the shock absorber, a relocated shock is unnecessary. This also simplifies mounting, eliminates tire clearance issues, and maintains effective shock angle. ShockWaves use a billet QA1 racing shock with a 12-position valving adjustment to fine tune for ultimate ride quality.
Many customers want a comfortable-riding air suspension only for the rear of a vehicle. The front may ride fine as is, or it may be a traditional straight axle inappropriate for air suspension. The ShockWave 7000 and 9000 accommodate such situations while ShockWave v3.0 is typically used on independent front suspensions. All Shockwave kits are sold as a pair for both right and left side fitment.
