Frame rail c-notch allows you to clearance the frame and go l-o-w while still maintaining some suspension travel before the axle housing interferes with the frame. C-notch kits are used when a portion of the frame is cut and removed. The c-notch support replaces the frame rail material being removed to maintain some strength and support.
