Chevy 496 Base Engine Assembly

Seasoned hand picked, 4 bolt main, 2 piece rear seal blocks are bored, cylinders are computer honed to .0002 straightness and thickness, cylinders are sonic tested for thickness, square and parallel decked, align honed main bearing bore. Rotating Assemblies feature, Scat cast steel external balanced crankshaft and Scat Forges "I" beam connecting rods, KB Hypereutectic 9.0 to 1compression pistons, Hastings moly rings, Mellings HV oil pump, Flat tappet hydraulic cam and lifters .552 intake, .555 exhaust 230 int, 236 exh duration @ .050, 110 lobe separation, HP double roller timing set. Balanced to with in 2 grams. GM cast iron oval port heads with screw in studs and guide plates, swirl polished valves, 2.25 intake 1.88 exhaust, Elgin hardened push rods and long slot rockers. Features chrome valve covers, Milodon cad plated oil pan.
