The Rapid Flow Induction Cold Air Induction Systems (RFI) is an advanced airflow induction system built to increase the engine's ability to breath, increasing horsepower, torque and fuel efficiency, while decreasing exhaust gas temperatures. Most of our Rapid Flow Inductions systems feature an aluminum lid to create an enclosed system. Those kits seal tightly against the vehicle hood to simulate the enclosed effect. An enclosed system is designed to keep hot air out of the intake air stream. They seal tightly against cold air sources from within the engine bay, which ensures an improvement in performance and efficiency. Through real world and user testing, Bully Dog has proven that an enclosed intake system along with a high flow cotton gauze filter will yield better air flow and colder intake temperatures than a stock system. The benefit of lower exhaust gas temperatures becomes especially important when adding high horsepower modification such as the Triple Dog Downloader. The Rapid Flow Induction system helps to keep exhaust gas temperatures in check. The power produced by the RFI also compliments the Triple Dog by allowing for faster turbo spool up and results in greater acceleration.
