The Swing Away System is the latest innovation in safety and convenience for full bodied show or race cars. A single hand operated cam lock control mechanism allows the steering column and steering wheel to move approximately 18" to the right, making driver entry and exit simple, fast as well as convenient. With the use of more electronics and steering wheel controls, the Swing Away Steering System eliminates misaligned trans brake buttons, loose electrical connections and broken circuit wires. The cam lock mechanism is CNC machined from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum and is supplied with all stainless steel hardware. The system also consists of a color matched 1 1/4" aluminum, nylon bushed steering column sleeve to cover any standard 3/4" diameter steering shaft.
