Designed for operation at ranges that can exceed 10,000 RPM, mechanical roller cams represent the ultimate in efficiency. While a large number of mechanical roller cams are used in purely competition applications, Crane Cams does manufacture less severe roller grinds that are designed for high performance street engines that have higher compression or power-adders. For best results, valve lash must be checked and set periodically.
