The Most Reliable CD Ignition Available!This multi spark CD ignition can handle anything from street applications to race setups with 14.5:1 compression, nitrous-oxide, superchargers, or turbos. It produces more HP, torque, and will give your mean machine crisper throttle response. It delivers more spark-gap current than any comparable digital CD ignitions on the market! There is a built in timing retard available with the optional control module, P/N 270-6000-6425. The plug-n-go harness is included with the ignition box. The HI-6R includes a built-in tach accuracy check as well as a sequential rev limiter to stop engine damaging ''popping and banging'' when it hits the rev limiter. The big rotary switches are precise and ease rev limit adjustments with their ''click-in'' accuracy, eliminating the need for RPM chips! Includes shock mounts for race conditions and is fully potted with new, soft urethane for heat, dirt and moisture protection. It can be used with a points, mag, or module triggered ignition. It also has a new feature that uses built-in flashing codes that tell you if there is a problem whether it's the coil, ground, power supply, loose or broken wires, or the ignition unit itself!
