The Standard By Which
Other Roller Lifters Are Judged

Machining, heat treating, and hand assembling of these mechanical (solid) roller lifters are performed at Crane's Daytona Beach facility. Checked for fit and function to achieve accuracy and quality control, they install quickly and easily without expensive block machining.

Highlights

Made from 1214 or 8620 alloy steel

Vertical or horizontal locking bar

Maximized lifter bore contact surfaces for less wear

Weight reduction in non-critical areas for ultra lightweight lifters

Pressure-fed oil routed to roller wheel and bearings

Relocated camshafts & oil galleries, changed lifter boss heights, and varied lifter bore diameters and center-to-center distances to accommodate specialized block-cam-cylinder head combinations

Note: Part numbers that end with -16, -12, or -8 are sold as complete sets (based
on 8, 6, or 4-cylinder application) while numbers that end with -2 are sold in pairs.
