Crane roller lifters were developed when camshaft lobes weren't so violent. They're ideal for street rollers, many bracket racing classes, and other racing with less aggressive cam profiles. Street engine use requires periodic valve adjustment. Machining, heat treating, and hand assembling of these "original design" mechanical (solid) roller lifters are performed at Crane's Daytona Beach facility. Checked for fit and function to achieve accuracy and quality control, they install quickly and easily without expensive block machining.
