The fan clutch is an important component of most belt-driven fan
systems. It relies on a thermostatic coil to read the
under-hood temperature which engages the fan to provide sufficient airflow
for the cooling system. Once the temperature drops to a set level, the fan
disengages to save on power and decreases the load on the enging allowing the
vehicle to run more efficiently.
Features:
Thermal model engages the fan based on the under-hood temperature,
ensuring airflow when cooling is most necessary
Aluminum construction allows for maximum heat dissipation
Multi-fin design transfers greater volume of air to dispel more heat
Heavy-duty bearing with high-temp moly grease creates a more durable,
higher-functioning clutch
