Utilizing a combination of advanced textiles, DEI has developed a heat shield solution that looks great and outperformsother conventional heat shields available today. This starts by joining two reinforced materials together forminga dual-layer design. The outer layer is a heat-treated glass fiber, bonded with molten aluminum and formed into atight weave for durability and strength. The inside material is made of a specially treated, high temperature resistantfabric (89% silica) designed to withstand serious exhaust heat. The outer edge is finished off with a surge stitch fordurability. All hardware is stainless steel. Can handle heat up to to 1350°F, with an eye catching black finish.
