Dynomax headers are constructed from heavy 16-gauge tubing and ceramic coated to withstand temperatures up to 1300°F! This incredible coating will not turn blue or oxidize and will dramatically reduce engine compartment temperatures. Include gaskets, reducers, plus all the nuts and bolts required for installation.

    DynoMax's computer-controlled, precision machining means flatter, truer flanges for a better seal.
    Any distortion in the plane of a flange surface can cause exhaust gas leakage.

    Tube Bends

    Any constriction at bends results in restriction of flow. DynoMax® primary tubes have mandrel bends for up to 35% better flow than ordinary, serrated bent tubes.

    Header Finish

    High luster ceramic coated headers are covered 100% inside and out with a protective surface that won't discolor, chip, or rust. Offering easier gas flow and an increase in horsepower, ceramic coating lasts 14 times longer than chrome, 140 times longer than paint, and meets the DynoMax 5000-hour salt spray test with no failures.

    Primary Tube Length
    Determines torque above or below the peak horsepower RPM point. Shorter tubes add torque above the peak RPM point and reduce torque below. Longer tubes add torque below the peak RPM point and reduce torque above it.
    Primary Tube Diameter
    Determines peak horsepower RPM point. Use small diameter tubes on small CID engines to produce mid-to-high-RPM torque. Use large diameter on large CID engines to produce mid-to-high-RPM torque. If in doubt, use smaller diameter tubes
