Get improved handling performance by increasing your vehicle's roll stiffness with Edelbrock's new front and rear Sway Bars. These Sway Bars are designed and tested on the road to give your car's chassis the stability it needs to keep your tires planted on the road. Edelbrock suspension engineers have specifically sized each application for proper roll stiffness. Edelbrock swaybars are available individually (front or rear) and in pairs (front and rear) and mount in the stock location for easy installation. For the ultimate suspension "Total Power Package" combination - match these new sway bars with our other great suspension components such as; springs, front coil over's, shocks, torque arms, trailing arms, trailing arm relocation brackets, sub-frame connectors, panhard rod, and strut tower braces for the total suspension solution!
Front Sway Bars are manufactured from lightweight hollow-core (4130) Chromoly steel for maximum strength and durability. The CNC forming ensures precision fitment of each application for a true bolt-on installation. Some applications feature adjustable end links for fine tuning of the roll stiffness to your personal preference; please refer to each individual application. A gloss black powder coated finish is applied for great looks, lasting durability and corrosion resistance. They also include greasable graphite polyurethane bushings and high quality zinc plated hardware.
4130 Chromoly steel for maximum strength and minimal nose weight
Improves roll stiffness under severe cornering and braking
Accurately sized for each application
All bushings are high-quality polyurethane
Hardware is included for proper installation
Made in USA for absolute quality and performance
Rear Sway Bars are manufactured from heavy duty solid-core (1045) high strength steel for maximum durability. The CNC forming ensures precision fitment of each application for a true bolt-on installation. Edelbrock engineers have designed these rear applications to allow removal of vehicle's rear differential cover with the sway bar fully installed. Like the front sway bars, some applications feature adjustable end links for fine tuning of the roll stiffness to your personal preference. They include greasable graphite polyurethane bushings on most applications, u-bolts and high quality zinc plated hardware.
1045 high-strength steel for maximum durability
Greatly improves roll stiffness under severe cornering, hard acceleration and braking
Accurately sized for each application
All bushings are high-quality polyurethane (when required)
Hardware is included for proper installation
Made in USA for absolute quality and performance
Why did they choose different materials for the front and rear?
4130 Chromoly was chosen for the front sway bars for two simple reasons - weight and strength. A vehicle carries the majority of its weight in the front end and 70% of the braking is handled by the front brakes. The front end is also responsible for the vehicle's steering control. 4130 Chromoly provides the tensile strength (up to 130 pounds per square inch (Ksi) and its hollow-core design keeps weight to a minimum. This provides the optimal ratio of weight vs. strength to increase the chassis roll stiffness and improve handling without compromise. When Edelbrock engineered the rear sway bars, 1045 was the material best suited to provide the optimal roll stiffness. Since weight is not as critical to the rear of the vehicle, 1045's solid core provides strength and long-term durability. This all adds up to a great product at exceptional value to our customers.
