The BOSS is Back!
BOSS 302 crate engines feature race quality components at entry level pricing. Engines use a Boss 4-bolt main block that features 1/2'' head bolts and threaded core plugs just like the original. Made from 41,000 psi, high tin truck grade iron with cross-drilled siamese cylinder bores for max strength with excellent cooling and head gasket life. All forged internals include a neutrally balanced forged crankshaft, forged rods and Mahle forged 9.0:1 compression ratio (nominal) pistons. Aluminum GT-40 ''X'' cylinder heads top off this combination with 1.94'' intake & 1.54'' exhaust valves. Available with either a ''E303" or "B303" hydraulic roller camshaft with Crane/FRPP roller rockers. BOSS 302 engines can withstand the abuse of forced induction and nitrous without degrading durability.
