Great for limited budgets. It's the fast, easy way to add performance to kit cars, street rods, and trucks. 342ci and 10:1 compression ratio (nominal) with Ford Racing GT-40 aluminum cylinder heads (1.94" Int/1.54" Exh valves), Ford Racing X303 hydraulic roller camshaft (Lift .542" and Duration @ .050" 224°), crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, timing chain, roller rocker arms, roller tappets, pushrods, oil pump, pickup tube, oil pan, valve covers, front cover, water pump, damper, flywheel, and spark plugs. The flywheel should work on most 157-tooth manual transmissions (for other transmissions, use a 28 oz flywheel). Depending on the application, the timing cover and/or water pump, damper, oil pan, and pickup tube may need to be reused from original engine. Distributor with steel gear must be used for compatibility with camshaft.NOTE Some or all of the following parts may need changed from the original engine or modified for proper installation. The rear sump 5-quart oil pan (Fox-style) and pickup, serpentine-style water pump and timing chain cover, 4-bolt production harmonic damper, and valve covers. The rear sump oil pan will work in all Fox body applications. The water pump will work on 1986-93 Mustangs. The timing chain cover will work with most V-belt applications. The valve covers will work on carbureted applications.
