This 302 is a fast, easy way to add performance to kit cars, street rods, trucks, Mustangs, and Fox bodies. Some of its components include: new block, reverse rotation water pump, oil pump, rear sump oil pan, pickup, flywheel, harmonic balancer, regular rotation timing cover, and valve covers. The flywheel should work on most 157-tooth manual transmissions (for other transmissions, use the proper 50 oz flywheel). The valve covers should fit most 1986-93 Mustang EFI applications. Depending on the application, modification and/or components to replace these may be required.

  • Forged pistons
  • Forged steel connecting rods
  • Double roller timing chain set (Ford Racing #M-6268-A302)
  • Nodular iron crankshaft
  • Aluminum GT-40 cylinder heads (Ford Racing #M-6049-X303) with 1.94" Int/1.54" Exh valves
  • Roller rocker arms (Ford Racing #M-6564-B351)
  • Fuel pump eccentric (Ford Racing #M-6287-B302) allows use of mechanical fuel pump
  • Firing Order: 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 (same as 5.0L HO and 351W)
