Ford Racing 347 Boss Engine with Z Aluminum Heads

The Ford Racing Z347 crate engine features their Boss 4-bolt main block that features 1/2'' head bolts and threaded core plugs just like the original. This 347ci engine creates 450 HP at 6000 RPM and 400 ft/lbs TQ at 4900 RPM (with headers and a 650 cfm carburetor, not included). The rotating assembly features forged pistons (9.7:1), forged steel cap screw connecting rods, and a forged crankshaft. Also included is a hydraulic roller camshaft with .563" Int/.584" Exh lift and 232° Int/240° Exh Duration @ .050" with a 1.6 ratio rocker arm. This engine is excellent for use in kit cars, street rods, Mustangs, Fox bodies, and trucks. Depending on your application, a different timing cover, water pump, and oil pan may be required. This engine has a rear T-sump performance oil pan and pickup (fits most Fox body cars), regular rotation water pump and timing cover, and non-EFI valve covers. It also includes a 157-tooth, 28 oz balanced flywheel for manual applications.
