Replace your flat tappet camshaft with a Ford Racing hydraulic roller camshaft. Kits are designed to convert early 351W non-roller small-blocks over to a hydraulic roller camshaft. Roller camshafts rev quicker and reduce friction robbing horsepower.
Note: This conversion kit will require drilling and tapping your lifter valley for installation of lifter tie bars. It is also requries use of a roller cam compatiable distributor gear. Roller camshafts require higher spring pressues than flat tappet camshafts. Be sure to check for proper pushrod length.
