GM Performance Parts is pleased to announce the launch of our LSX 454 crate engine, the latest addition to our LSX family of engines.
GM has taken the Bowtie LSX block and combined it with the new LSX-LS7 cylinder heads and some very special big bore components. These new heads are an as-cast LS7 version with six bolt pattern and includes the titanium valves with a high lift camshaft. The engine is built with forged LSX pistons, rods and crankshaft for a solid foundation. At 11.0/1 compression this is a true powerhouse for any LS performance project, that still runs on pump gas.
The engine delivers exceptional performance in a straight forward bolt in LS package. The LSX454 is delivered without an intake manifold so you can top it with a carburetor or LS7 production-style injection system. ( PT # 12610435 )
The LSX454 comes as a long block with a dust cover, you can order an oil pan for the right set up for your application. This long block configuration allows you to configure this engine the way you want it.
