All Leaf Springs Are Not Created Equal!Length, material, thickness, clamp locations, type of pads, and number of leaves all contribute to the effectiveness of the spring. All Global West leaf springs lower the ride height and provide additional spring rate, reduce, if not eliminate, wheel hop during launch, and control excessive squatting.
CAT-5 leaf springs feature spherical bearings installed in the front and rear eyelets rather than bushings. Del-A-Lum bushings are supplied in the rear frame area along with shackles and specific hardware. The spherical bearing in the eyelets allow the rear end to tilt during corners keeping the inside and outside of the tire flat on the pavement. The end result is a smoother ride with the ability to put the power down during corner exit.
Note: Eyelet bushings and shackles are not included.
