This head is valve pocketed for high lift cams and has a fire transfer slot added to speed up the incoming charge and flame transfer from the combustion chamber to the cylinder. No modifications to the block are required, bolt on and go. (There will be instructions included informing the buyer that a stock 3/8'' reach spark plug must be used along with the supplied spacer shim added under the plug.)
