Shifter mounts low and close to the transmission case for ease of installation in most applications. Incorporates a neutral bias shift pattern that centers the stick to the 3-4 gate in neutral, requiring a bias effort to overcome the preload spring to enter the 1-2 or 5-R gate. Built-in gear stops prevent over shifting. Internal mechanism components are heat treated for strength and durability. Reinforced heat treated 7/16'' linkage rods eliminate flex.
