How To Install JEGS Ball & Socket Exhaust Pipe Connectors
There are three pieces included with the JEGS ball and socket exhaust pipe connectors. These include a male and female ball and socket exhaust flange and a stainless steel band clamp that joins and seals them together. To install them, one half is welded to the header or a place in the exhaust system with a straight section. The other half is welded so that when they are joined, the exhaust system is secured and sealed at the joint. To complete the connection, the included ball and socket exhaust clamp is centered and tightened over the joint. The engine is then started to confirm there are no exhaust leaks.
