JEGS Prostarter Starters Video

Prostarter Starters have full ball bearing construction instead of bushings that can wear prematurely. They weigh only 10.5 pounds with an 80-90 amp draw. Billet aluminum adapters feature four adjustable mounting positions to allow more header or oil pan clearance (except 555-10002 and 555-10085). While others offer 3:1 gear reduction, Prostarters feature a Nippondenso motor and have 4.4:1 ratio with cranking power for engines with as much as 12:1 compression. The solenoid housings are sealed with O-rings for added protection.
