The 57 Series Gen II Air Intake Kit (FIPK) is available for many vehicles and represents a dramatic improvement over the use of a K&N OE replacement filter alone. Kits use nonmetallic rotationally-molded tubes that can reduce air temperature and sound compared to metal tubes. The weakest link in the airflow chain robs a vehicle of its natural horsepower, and often that link is the factory air path to an engine. Restriction can exist between air filters and engines.
