The Lunati Sledgehammer Crankshaft offers Cutting-Edge technology and design for street or strip vehicles. Sledgehammer crank shafts can be installed right out of the box, due to a factory-applied protective oil coating for fast and convenient installation. They are forged of 4340 non-twist steel. The non-twist design produces a crankshaft with higher tensile strength then conventional crankshafts, while having all of its pin arms edges and detailed. These Lunati Sledgehammers are counter weighed and clearanced for 5.700'' connecting rods.
