Every ounce of weight that is shaved from a race car is power gained. When you couple the 12 amp power of the new Pro Mag Lite with almost Three Pounds in weight savings, the outcome is obvious.

The new Pro Mag Lite has the same incredible output of the original Pro Mag 12, plus features other exciting updates designed exclusively for open wheel racing such as locking anti-rotation clamp, easy-to-adjust band clamp mount, smaller diameter and shorter housing for improved clearances.

  • Bolt-down cap features stainless steel terminals for corrosion resistance.
  • From the intake up, the Pro Mag Lite is one inch shorter for more air cleaner space.
  • Special hold down clamp incorporates anti-rotation lock to prevent the mag from turning in the manifold.
  • Housing is only 3 1/2'' in diameter for increased manifold/injector clearance.
  • Sixteen rare earth magnets never need to be recharged.
  • Band clamp base mount allows more convenient timing adjustments. Also saves valuable time when removing the generator.
  • High output magnetic pickup provides accurate trigger signals and is maintenance-free! This also allows the incorporation of MSD's new crank trigger technology.
  • All billet housing for long life in circle track and heavy applications.
  • Pressure fed lower bushing reduces bearing wear.
  • Supplied with .006'' oversize bronze gear (Chevrolet).
