A Top of the Line Kit with All the Right Components!This kit features the components to handle the rigors and high vibration enviroment associated with circle track racing. At the heart of this kit is MSD's 6T Ignition Box. The 6T (p/n 121-6400) is designed with extra internal bracing, Humi-Seal coating, rubber shock mounts and a special 4-wire connector to connect an MSD Rev Control.
The next key component is MSD's Blaster High Vibration Coil. The windings of the High Vibration Coil (p/n 121-8222) are completely encased in a premium epoxy making it impossible for vibration to affect the windings. This assembly is housed in a unique alkyd molded shell which provides high dielectric characteristics plus a very durable shell. Brass primary terminals ensure full voltage delivery and are spaced far apart to eliminate the chance of spark arc-over. The High Vibration Coil can be mounted in any position and mounts securely with the standard canister coil mount included in this kit.
Fire is then precisely routed to the appropriate 8.5mm Super Conductor Spark Plug Wire (p/n 121-31239, included in this kit) by MSD's Pro-Billet Distributor (p/n 121-85551). The Pro-Billet Distributor is the ultimate distributors of choice with it's billet aluminum housing, polished steel drive shaft that ride on sealed ball bearings at the top of the shaft and an extra long sintered control bushing located at the bottom of the housing. The bearing/bushing combination keeps the shaft spinning smooth and accurately throughout 10,000+ rpm. This distributor also uses a high output magnetic pickup to trigger the ignition system and is completely maintenance-free requiring no adjustment ever and it simply plugs directly into your MSD Ignition Control.
